At Longevity Collective, our goal is to empower the individual to make better, more informed, science-based decisions about personal health and well-being.
Our team is built from Researchers, Medical Doctors, Investors, Scientists and Health Professionals like Tom Ingoglia and Jeanné Pitre, who through more than 15 years of clinical observation of past clients/patients has realized that the best way to heal the body is to create a state of homeostasis (physically, mentally, and spiritually). Together, we have designed NAD+ products that we believe will help you architect your health to live a better life.
What is NAD+?
NAD+ is a coenzyme that is in involved in hundreds of functions within the body, including "DNA repair, gene expression... and immunological functions." (Braidy et al., 2019) It is also essential for your mitochondria, the powerhouse of the cell. This makes NAD+ a versatile molecule that can improve numerous aspects of your life!
What can NAD+ do for me?
NAD+ can...
Why is NAD+ supplementation important?
NAD+ levels naturally deplete in our bodies as we get older. (Masudi et al., 2012) This means that various physiological processes will cease to function optimally.
What products do you have?
What is "route of administration" and why does it matter?
Route of administration refers to the method in which a substance is absorbed into the body. You may pick a certain route of administration based on several factors, including convenience, efficacy, and how quickly you want effects. (Pharmapproach, 2021)
Our Sublingual NAD+ Lozenges are placed under the tongue so that they dissolve. This allows the NAD+ to enter capillaries directly instead of being absorbed in the liver via the first-pass metabolism. Thus, this method is not only quicker than oral administration, but it also increases the bioavailability of the NAD+.
Our Transdermal NAD+ Patches are applied onto the skin (and also bypasses the first-pass metabolism in the liver). Though this is slower than sublingual administration, it still works faster than taking NAD+ orally and is actually the most bioavailable out of the three methods. The steady release of NAD+ through a patch also provides long-lasting effects.
In summary, both our Sublingual NAD+ Lozenges and our Transdermal NAD+ Patches work efficiently and are easy to use. Because neither undergo first-pass metabolism, they also reduce the risk for gastric irritation. We formulated our products this way to provide you with the optimal NAD+ delivery.
